1. Who we are

CheckPQC is operated by the CheckPQC team (“we”, “us”). By using checkpqc.com or checkpqc.app, you (“you”) accept these terms.

2. What the service does

CheckPQC provides local reference scripts, a browser connection check and free public-domain TLS scans. Website scans perform TLS handshakes from our server; local scripts run from your machine. Results describe the tested connection, not the readiness of every application or service. Protocol upgrades such as STARTTLS may exchange protocol messages; these examples send no application credentials.

3. Acceptable use

• You may scan hosts you own, hosts you have explicit written permission to scan, and public CDN endpoints whose terms permit external probing.
• You may not use CheckPQC to scan, fingerprint, or attack systems you do not have authorization for.
• You may not run automated bulk scans without first contacting us. Sustained automated use without authorization will be rate-limited and then blocked.
• You may not attempt to overwhelm, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the CheckPQC API or infrastructure.

4. No warranty

CheckPQC is provided “as is”. The verdict reported is based on a single TLS handshake at a single point in time and may not reflect the target’s full capabilities. Do not rely on a CheckPQC result as the sole input to a security or compliance decision.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the CheckPQC team is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of CheckPQC. Our aggregate liability is limited to USD 100.

6. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy policy.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above is authoritative. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
